Television Account
Executive
WWPXT/WPME TV in Portland has an immediate opening
for an account executive. This candidate's primary
responsibility will be new business development. If you
consider yourself a highly motivated individual, looking for
the opportunity to grow in a fun environment, this position
is for you. Strong writing and presentation skills are a
must. A bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
and 2-3 years experience in media sales or related field
preferred. This position offers a base pay, plus commission.
Job Requirements
Previous experience in
broadcasting sales, or sales experience from another
industry.
Strong verbal, written and inter-personal
skills
Strong organization and negotiation skills
Computer knowledge preferred
Dependable transportation
Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance
Drug
test and background check
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree a plus. Prior sales experience helpful.
