Television Account Executive
WPXT/WPME TV in Portland has an
immediate opening for an account
executive. This candidate's primary
responsibility will be new business
development. If you consider
yourself a highly motivated
individual, looking for the
opportunity to grow in a fun
environment, this position is for
you. Strong writing and presentation
skills are a must. A bachelor's
degree or equivalent related
experience and 2-3 years experience
in media sales or related field
preferred. This position offers a
base pay, plus commission.

Production Videographer / Editor
Can
you shoot award winning video? Can
you cut quickly & creatively?
Do you want to work on a wide
variety of projects, from :30 spots
to half-hour programs?
WPXT-TV / WPME-TV is an Emmy-winning
operation with dozens of awards for
our creativity and high-quality
production. We are currently looking
for a full-time videographer /
editor to become an integral member
of our Creative Services department.
- Video, Audio, Lighting, and non-linear editing experience is required.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software and/or Final Cut Pro is preferred.
- The ability to work on multiple projects while meeting broadcast deadlines is critical.
- Must be comfortable meeting and working with clients.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts when required for productions that may fall outside of normal business hours.
- This position will require travel to other television markets (for up to a week at a time) for long-format productions.
